Golf is at its purest when nature and course work in harmony to surprise and delight those who play the game. It’s at the crossroads of forward looking course design and habitat preservation that Mossy Oak Golf Club exists. Sculpted by course architect Gil Hanse (architect of Streamsong Black) and shaped with the outdoor knowledge of Mossy Oak, the course represents an innovative voice in the world of conservation. The experience created by the owner, The George and Marcia Bryan Family, is a truly special one that accentuates the beauty and habitat of the region and makes a round of golf a full-sensory experience. From the moment golfers arrive on property, they travel across subtle pathways that are ideal for walking and playing. Guests are greeted with the genuine charm of the region and offered caddie services and education on the nature, plants and wildlife seen on the course.
Designed with a light footprint on the land, the course design of Hanse follows the natural contours of the rolling prairie and oak tree stands. Hole 1-5 take golfers on a journey through the prairie, oaks and grasses as a showcase of the native landscape and around a challenging combination of par-5, par-4, par-4, par-3, par-5 that also unlocks timeless views and history of the property.
