About the Golf Courses

The Hankins and Craddock Courses

Named after two Pioneer families who homesteaded the site, the two 18-hole reversible championship courses are the first of their kind in the U.S. The course direction is reversed each day to create two distinct layouts with a variety of pin placements and tee box options, creating variety in the course set up. While neither the Hankins nor Craddock course has any water hazards, golfers will find challenge and excitement while navigating the hundred-plus bunkers incorporated into the course designs, not to mention the hills and trees!

Chief Egan Course

The Chief Egan course is named for the last War Chief of the Paiute tribe who engaged in the U.S. Calvary in 1882. Sitting on the banks of the Paiute Creek, it is the closest place on the ranch to Egan’s last camp during the conflict. Egan’s mountain meadow course is a 9-hole, par-3 layout with water on every hole. The Chief Egan’s Hideout, the clubhouse overlooking the course, also sets a standard for environmental sustainability. Completely off the grid, it is powered by roof-mounted solar panels and uses gravity-flow water from Paiute Spring, a quarter mile away.
